احتفالاً باليوم العالمي للوقاية المدنية، قام تلاميذ مدرسة بدر بزيارة ميدانية لثكنة الوقاية المدنية في المدينة، حيث كانت هذه الزيارة فرصة ثمينة للطلاب للتعرف عن قرب على الدور الحيوي الذي تلعبه الوقاية المدنية في حماية الأرواح والممتلكات، والاطلاع على الجهود الكبيرة التي تبذلها هذه المؤسسة في التعامل مع الحالات الطارئة والكوارث.
بدأت الزيارة بترحيب من قبل عناصر الوقاية المدنية، الذين قدموا للطلاب شرحاً مفصلاً عن طبيعة عملهم، وأهمية الوقاية المدنية في المجتمع. بعد ذلك، تم تقسيم التلاميذ إلى مجموعات صغيرة ليتسنى لهم الاستفادة بشكل أفضل من الشرح العملي الذي قدمه المتخصصون.
